Scholarships for Nontraditional Students

Two scholarship programs at the University of Missouri will support adult students returning to finish their education.

• The Osher Re-entry Scholarship Program will award $50,000 in scholarships to a maximum of $2,000 per MU student for educational fees only for the 2008-2009 academic year. Students 23 through 50 years of age who are resuming work on their first undergraduate degree after a five year interruption in their studies are encouraged to apply.
• The Doris P. Littrell Scholarship Program will provide two $500 awards to recipients for the 2008-2009 academic year. Applicants must be over age 23 and be pursuing a master's or doctoral degree offered through MU Direct: Continuing and Distance Education.

The Osher Re-entry Scholarship application deadline has been extended to Monday, May 19.
The Doris P. Littrell Scholarship application deadline is May 1.
