Pursuant to FAR5.201, notice is given that the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) intends to contract with the Board of Regents, State of Iowa, for facilities to serve as a campus for the AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC), a residential national service program operated by CNCS. This is not a solicitation. The proposed contract action is for leasing of the facilities at the Iowa Braille and Sight Saving School in Vinton, Iowa. CNCS intends to only solicit and negotiate with the above source under the authority of FAR 6.302-5. Congressional appropriation dictates the location and funding for a Midwest campus to be at the Iowa Braille and Sight Saving School in Vinton, Iowa. Any information received would normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by CNCS not to compete this proposed contractual action is solely within the discretion of CNCS. Responses are not limited to small business concerns.
