The Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), Office of Procurement Services (OPS) is issuing this sources sought notification as part of its market research analysis to obtain a better understanding of how many subcontractor sources there are available to provide expert subcontracting services for work/expertise in the following areas:1.Update to Existing Technical Assistance Medicaid Home and Community-Based Waiver Manual. To revise existing technical assistance manual entitled Medicaid Home and Community-Based Waivers: A Guide for Senior Companion Programs to reflect current practices and strategies for success. The target audience is local Senior Corps. Senior Companion Program projects that seek Medicaid Waiver funds to expand delivery of home and community-based independent living services to seniors. Technical understanding of Medicaid Home and Community-Based Waiver needed. In-depth operational knowledge of the Senior Companion Program needed. 2.Training for New Project Directors: Peer-to-Peer Mentoring Program. To develop, oversee, manage and track progress for a peer mentoring program in which experienced Senior Corps project directors will serve as mentors and resource persons to new project directors. Areas of content expertise. In-depth operational knowledge of the Senior Corps. three programs: The RSVP, Foster Grandparent, and Senior Companion Programs; project management. 3.Train-the-Trainer Independent Living Curriculum. To develop and deliver a standard curriculum to Senior Corps. Senior Companion and RSVP project directors (and other qualified individuals) who have volunteers delivering independent living services to seniors who will in turn train their volunteers. In-depth knowledge of Senior Companion and RSVP programs and independent living services for seniors needed to construct curriculum. Training experience needed for train-the-trainer workshop delivery. The corporation anticipates issuing RFPs for these projects in the very near future but would like to attach a listing of potential subcontractors that have explicit expertise in the identified areas, in order to offer potential offerors the best avenue for obtaining needed guidance for their proposals.
