The Corporation for National and Community Service has a requirement for the administration of its self-insured health benefits program. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted on or before Monday, April 14, 2008. The solicitation will be available on the Federal Business Opportunity (FedBizOpps) site only. The RFP will be issued on a full and open competitive basis.

The government anticipates awarding a hybrid Firm Fixed Price/Time and Materials contract award for a period of performance of one base year and four one-year option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is: 524292 (Insurance Claims Processing Services, Third Party ).  All questions concerning this competition must be directed in writing via email to Marilyne Brooks at mbrooks@cns.gov. No questions or inquiries will be accepted by phone or fax. The distribution of the resulting solicitation will be accomplished solely through the FedBizOpps website, http://www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation documents will not be available.  No written, telephone, or facsimile request for documents will be accepted. The FedBizOpps site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and any attachments, will be distributed solely through the FedBizOpps website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps website to assure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
