This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.


The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)/Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) Scott AFB, IL has a requirement for DISA CONUS to procure a complete turnkey installation of the raised floor with new pedestal and carpet for the GNSC section in Building 3189, 604 Tyler St. Scott AFB, IL. This work will done in phases so as not to disturb the 24 hour operation center. Work will start no early than 1500 each day and will stop by 2100 each day. Tate Access Floor will be used with new under structure pedestals and the bolted stringers system. Floor panels will be CCN 1250 panels with placement holes for Positile Carpet. The Statement of Work (SOW), which includes a complete description of the requirements, is located within the attached Request for Proposal, HC1028-09-T-2027.


In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.203, the Government intends for this acquisition to be offered for competition limited to Small Business concerns. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Small Business Participants. The period of performance will start 30 days from award. The NAICS code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction.


The resulting award will be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. If at anytime the Government determines that the requested services are no longer required, the Government reserves the right to not make an award. The Government also reserves the right to award without discussions. Proposals are due 05 January 2009 at 8:00 AM CST. All responses from responsible Small Business sources will be considered for evaluation and award of the contract.
