AMENDMENT ONE

Pre-Solicitation Notice DNFSB-08-001 is being amended to: (1) remove the restriction of 8(a) firms serviced by the Washington D.C. district office; (2) change the contract type from labor hour to time and materials; and (3) identify the incumbent currently providing these services. Pre-Solicitation DNFSB-08-001 is hereby amended as follows:





The Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety (Board), Division of Acquisition and Finance, plans to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) for information technology, document management, and administrative support at the DNFSB headquarter buildings in Washington, DC. The procurement will be competitively set-aside for 8(a) contractors in accordance with 13 CFR 124.507. The applicable NAICS code is 541513. Award of a time and materials contract (commencing August 1, 2008) with a one-year base and four option years is anticipated. These services are currently being provided by the following contractor: New Age Systems, Inc., 2111 Eisenhower Ave., STE 400, Alexandria, VA 22314. Release of the solicitation is planned for no later than late-January, 2008 via the Government?s electronic posting Web site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT DISTRIBUTE HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION; DISTRIBUTION WILL ONLY BE DONE VIA THE AFOREMENTIONED METHOD SO FIRMS SHOULD NOT RESPOND TO THIS NOTICE BY REQUESTING TO BE PLACED ON A SOLICITATION MAILING LIST. The solicitation will have instructions for submitting questions. DNFSB anticipates that all subsequent solicitation documents (e.g., amendments to the RFP and responses to questions) will be disseminated to offerors via the same method.
