The Contractor shall pursue a Platform Information Technology (PIT) determination of the AWS - Mission Critical System and provide a PIT submittal for AWS - Mission Critical Equipment, represent SP23 at the SP201 IAWG meetings, continue support of the "pull" approach to DoD, SECNAV, OPNAV, and DoN CIO information, perform IA Impact analysis for SP requests on SSGN programs, support of SCCB activities, review of SSGN (AWS/AWIS) SCP's, DCP's, PR's, etc. for IA impacts, review of IA Vulnerability Alerts / Bulletins and assessment of SSGN impacts in support of SP IA Vulnerability Management program and transition AWCS related programs with current DITSCAP


 


Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA.  GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and Attack Weapons Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.  See Note 22.*****
