FOR NRC AT WOLF CREEK
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has assigned Frank Brush as senior resident inspector for the Wolf Creek nuclear power plant near Burlington, Kansas. Mr. Brush will be on duty commencing December 6.
Mr. Brush began his career in nuclear energy as a nuclear electrician's mate in the U.S. Navy aboard guided missile cruiser USS Long Beach CG(N)-9. Following his Navy tour he graduated in 1977 from Boston University with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree. He continued to serve in the U.S. Navy Reserve until retiring in 1988 with the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
Following college graduation Mr. Brush worked at the Duane Arnold nuclear power plant near Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in a variety of technical positions. He joined the NRC in 1989, serving in the Region III offices near Chicago, and then as resident inspector at the Clinton nuclear power plant in Illinois and the Callaway nuclear power plant in Missouri.
Mr. Brush and his wife Patricia will reside in the Burlington area. They have three grown children.
