NOTE TO EDITORS:
A subcommittee of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) has scheduled a meeting April 16 in Rockville, Maryland.
The meeting, which will be open to public observation, will begin at 8:30 a.m. in Room T-2B3, 11545 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Md. The Subcommittee on Reliability and Probabilistic Risk Assessment will continue its review of matters related to elevation of core damage frequency to a fundamental goal, and possible revision of the Commission's Safety Goal Policy Statement. Some portions of the meeting may be closed.
Other aspects of the meeting, including an opportunity for public comment, will be described in a Notice of Meeting published in a forthcoming edition of the Federal Register.
