NOTE TO EDITORS:
A subcommittee of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) has scheduled a meeting February 19 and 20 in Rockville, Maryland.
The meeting, which will be open to public observation, will begin at 8:30 a.m. each day in Room T-2B3, 11545 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Md. The Subcommittee on Reliability and Probabilistic Risk Assessment will review the proposed standard review plan sections and regulatory guides for risk-informed, performance-based regulation, including individual applications for graded quality assurance, technical specifications, and inservice testing. Some portions of the meeting may be closed.
Other aspects of the meeting, including an opportunity for public comment, will be described in a Notice of Meeting published in a forthcoming edition of the Federal Register.
