NOTE TO EDITORS:

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff has scheduled the following upcoming meetings on Millstone Station:

On Tuesday, February 24, the Special Projects Office staff will meet with officials from Northeast Utilities to discuss the findings of the Millstone 3 Independent Corrective Action Verification Program Tier 1 In-scope inspection. The meeting will be held at 10 a.m. in the Leland F. Sillin Training Center at the Millstone site in Waterford, Conn. It is open to the public for observation.

On Thursday, February 26, the Special Projects Office staff will meet with NU officials to discuss the results of the NRC inspection of the company's corrective action program (known as the 40500 inspection). The meeting, which is open to the public for observation, begins at 1:30 p.m., in the Training Center.

On Wednesday, March 4, the Special Projects Office staff will meet with the public at the East Lyme Community Center to provide an update on the status of the Millstone recovery efforts. The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. The Community Center is on Society Road in East Lyme.
