Fourth grade students at Twentynine Palms Elementary have studied National Parks, Joshua Tree National Park, and their local deserts and have become Junior Rangers. Now they would like to share what they learned from in-class activities conducted by park rangers and from field trips to Joshua Tree National Park.

Did You Know?
With 700 species of vascular plants, Joshua Tree is renowned for its plant diversity. No wonder that when the area was first proposed for preservation in the early 1930s, the name suggested was Desert Plants National Park.
