What County Mental Health Plans Can Expect:
- A call back within 24 hours acknowledging the county’s issue or concern
- Up-to-date information on individual County Medi-Cal claims
- A proactive approach to notify counties of potential Medi-Cal claiming issues
The Medi-Cal Claims Customer Service Office (MedCCC) provides counties with direct access to a central office for claim payment issues, technical assistance on claim processing, and assistance in accurate and timely submission and processing of claims.
This proactive approach provides MedCCC the ability to contact a county when a potential issue is identified, and provides counties a single point of contact to assist them with claim processing questions and issues. Ultimately, this office will assist in streamlining the claim processing system resulting in improved processes at both the county and state levels.
