THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS BASED ON THE MOST CURRENT DATA PROVIDED TO NOAA. - Monday, 25 March SSC report from Saudi Arabia A need exists for a person with skills in low energy and tropical habitats. Tasks for this person would include: Survey habitat areas and make reports Participate in and record proceedings ofplanning team meetings SLAR mission: A requirement exists to ground truth tracking of the oil film. The uncontained sources in Kuwait also need to be resolved. The SSC will be participating with ARAMCO to focus attention on this issue. KFUPM modeling mission: KFUPM has requested that NOAA continue 7 day weather forecasts. They intend to maintain a modeling capability as long as there are uncontained sources. Air plume observations: The SSC has received a requirement to provide observations of the air plume at sunrise and between 1500 and 1700 for the week of 25 31 March.
