Detailed instructions will be provided when a candidate is accepted into the program.

Candidates are required to do the following:

• Complete a basic OPSEC course such as:
  • OPSE-1300, OPSEC Fundamentals;
  • OPSE-1301, OPSEC Fundamentals computer-based training; or,
  • equivalent OPSEC fundamental course.
    
    
• Bring a draft copy of basic documentation including:
  • an appointment letter;
  • an organizational mission statement;
  • a critical information list;
  • a statement of management's objectives for the OPSEC program; and,
  • a recent threat assessment.
