Office of Human Resources

The mission of the Office is to develop, in conjunction with senior management, and administer human resources policies, procedures, and strategies; and to provide advisory services to management and staff.

OHR has 5 staffers and is responsible for assuring that human resources practices implemented by managers are done fairly, effectively, and consistently; and in compliance with all District of Columbia and federal employment laws. OHR also develops and administers the Corporation's salary administration program, the benefits program and the performance management program.

In addition, OHR develops Corporation guidelines in the areas of equal employment opportunity, succession planning, recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, orientation and training, performance evaluation and employee relations. The Director reports to the Chief Administrative Officer.
