Croatia has launched a national GLOBE Newsletter. The publication is written and produced by a different GLOBE school each issue. The most recent edition was published by a III Gimnazija in Osijek, a city affected by the recent war.

The newsletter includes articles on a variety of topics, including a feature by a science teacher concerning the methodology behind pixel construction and information on the Global Positioning System (GPS) device which is used to take longitude and latitude measurements.

A special section of the student newsletter profiles recent GLOBE stars, including the Experimental High School in Beijing, China. One of the most informative features in the publication is an update on the status of all twenty five of the GLOBE schools in Croatia! Information is provided on the number of measurements that each school has taken and recorded for atmosphere/climate, hydrology, and biology/geology.
