Bob Jost and the sixth graders at Manchester GATE Elementary School joined the GLOBE Program for Earth Day 1995 and haven't slowed down since! The GLOBE students have collected and reported over 600 science observations. Mr. Jost helps out GLOBE by training new teachers in the GLOBE science measurements and technology systems.

Last year, Manchester GATE students were featured on the local news as they laid out their pixel. This spring, the work of Manchester GATE Elementary students is featured in an article called, "Making the Connection: They collect data for world scientists, send it on the Internet".
