Pumping of diesel off the tank stranded in the Texas Point Wildlife Refuge began on 4 October 2005. Approximately 8,000 feet of 2-inch flexible pipe was laid between the tank and a barge receiving the red-dye diesel. Photo taken 10/04/05. NOAA.
