Did You Know?
FHA lenders can subscribe to Single Family Housing's email list. You will get frequent updates to the HOC Reference Guide, training and event announcements, mortgagee letters and notices about your Single Family business.

Welcome to the FHA Connection, a site for FHA-approved lenders. The FHA Connection is an Internet-based system that allows FHA-approved lenders to have real-time access to several of FHA’s systems over HUD’s Internet system for the purpose of originating and servicing FHA loans. If you are an approved lender and have an ID and password, you may enter now. If you are an FHA-approved lender and need an ID and password, enter, and click the registration link.

For more information about using FHA Connection, read Mortgagee Letter 98-13 and its attachment the “Quick Start Guide”, for technical support eMail us, or for policy support or specific case problems, contact your Homeownership Center. You can also read the FAQs and the HOC Reference Guide, Section 3-01.

FHA Connection is an interactive application that gives our business partners secure interaction with HUD mainframe systems to do research and update our files. Through FHA Connection our business partners can send information to and receive information from our systems.

FHA Connection transactions include: requesting and updating a case number, recording appraisal and mortgagor insurance information, reassigning appraisers, changing borrower, requesting duplicate Mortgage Insurance Certificate; provides lenders a low-cost, on-line option for submitting delinquent data, to retrieve title approval information, to view the status of receipt of the mortgage insurance premiums.
