Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER)

PACER offers the public the ability to query court dockets and other information through a dial-up connection from a personal computer or terminal or via the World Wide Web. Registered users are able to determine whether an individual, corporation, or partnership has filed a District case in the Northern District of Mississippi.

Usage for dial-up PACER is $.60 per minute or $.07 per page viewed for PACER services on the Internet as approved by the Judicial Conference of the United States. Billing is administered by the PACER Billing Center in San Antonio, Texas.

PACER is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

A login and password issued by the PACER Service Center is required to access PACER Complete information and online registration for PACER is available at the PACER Service Center’s web site at http://pacer.psc.uscourts.gov   new window or call (800) 676-6856. It takes about a week to receive a login and password.

The District Clerk’s Office is required to collect a $26.00 search fee for providing any District case record information. To process a request, complete the Search Request Form and enclose a $26.00 money order or check (no debtor’s checks) made payable to "Clerk, U.S. District Court" and a self-addressed, stamped envelope for our response to the appropriate divisional office.
