In fiscal year 2008, our total budget was approximately $6.8 billion, including $410 million in program enhancements for intelligence, counterterrorism, laboratory, information technology, and cyber security.

field offices located in major cities throughout the
U.S., 400+ resident agencies in smaller cities and towns

the nation, and more than 60 international

embassies worldwide.
