Fees, Reservations, and Permits
Some special uses of the park require reservations and special use permits, and
some of these uses also require fees.

 

Expanded Amenity (Recreation Use) Fees
There are no Entrance Fees to the park. HOWEVER, for several developed facilities within the park there are Expanded Amenity Fees (formerly called Recreation Use Fees.)

 

Commercial Vehicle Fees
There are significant restrictions to commercial traffic on Route 209 within the park between Bushkill PA and Milford PA.

 

Group Picnic Area and Group Campsites
The group picnic area is reserved through the application process for permits.
The reservation of the park's group campsites is managed through a fee collection procedure.

Did You Know?
... that in the 1750s, the northwest border of New Jersey (now Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area) was a frontier of the English colonies. In the French & Indian (Seven Years) War, a string of forts protected these settlements. The sites of seven of these outposts are in the park.
