Coming in January, the Web of Science and Biological Abstracts® will move to the new, fully integrated ISI Web of Knowledge platform. It may look somewhat different, but all the popular tools remain: Cited Reference searching, emailed Research Updates, Marked Lists, analysis tools, and direct export to EndNote® and Reference Manager®.
What is new is a streamlined interface, more oriented to a user's needs. After the scheduled January 27 release, dual access to ISI Web of Knowledge will be discontinued, and all users will access the new version. The older version will no longer be available.
Please be aware that all existing saved Research Updates will remain in Web of Science and be automatically transferred to the new platform.
On January 24 from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m., the NIH Library will offer a class on the new interface in the NIH Library Training Room. For further information and to register, see Introduction to the Web of Science.
