Presenting QUOSA on September 13: Full-Article Retrieval from PubMed, Web of Science, and the Ovid Databases

The NIH Library announces a demonstration of the QUOSA Information Manager™ on September 13 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Join your colleagues in Building 10’s Lipsett Auditorium for an overview by Malcolm MacKenzie, President of QUOSA, followed by a coffee reception.

With QUOSA you can:

  • retrieve and easily save to your computer multiple full-text articles from PubMed®, Web of Science®, and Ovid® databases such as Biological Abstracts®, PsycINFO®, and CINAHL®
  • search the text of the downloaded articles
  • analyze article content using clustering tools, regular expression and wildcard queries, and the Genes + Aliases Search
  • automatically create records in EndNote® and Reference Manager® for the articles retrieved
  • set up search alerts
  • keep track of articles with My Article Organizer.

To learn more, see the QUOSA website at http://www.quosa.com/.

QUOSA software is available only through an individual’s or institute’s purchase of a seat. Several NIH institutes have purchased seats; check with your administrative officer (AO) to see if you have access.

Sign Language Interpreters and other reasonable accommodations can be provided for the program. If you require such accommodations, please contact the NIH Library Information Desk at 301-496-1080 five business days in advance. For TDD users/callers, please call the above number through the Federal Relay Service at 1-800-877-8339.

The demonstration will be webcast at http://videocast.nih.gov/.

If you have questions about QUOSA, email nihlibrary@nih.gov or call Reference & Information Services at 301-496-1080.

We look forward to seeing you on September 13.
