November 20: Space Available in the EndNote® Web and Scopus™ Classes

On November 20, learn more about EndNote Web (9:00 to 11:00 a.m.) and Scopus (11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.). Click the links to register.

EndNote Web is available from any computer with an Internet connection and web browser. With EndNote Web you can:

  • import references from online databases such as PubMed® and Web of Science®,
  • store up to 10,000 records per EndNote Web account,
  • edit references: add notes, include keywords, or modify any field,
  • choose from more than 3,000 publishing styles to format in-text citations and bibliographies,
  • insert references and format papers with Microsoft Word's Cite While You Write, and
  • simplify collaboration by using EndNote Web folders.

Scopus indexes thousands of journals in the life and health sciences, social sciences, psychology, business, management, the physical sciences, engineering, and the earth and environmental sciences. Additional content includes conference proceedings, trade publications, patents, scientific webpages, and citations from MEDLINE® and EMBASE™. With Scopus you can:

  • identify which authors are being cited
  • search by topic to identify relevant articles,
  • view, print, and download articles or request copies,
  • save references using EndNote or Reference Manager®,
  • store search requests, and
  • create email alerts.

Individual consultations are available to NIH staff members interested in these topics but unable to attend classes. Sign up through the Request a Tutorial service.
