Course on Fundamentals of Probate Practice on October 20, 27, and November 3, 2008
The Probate Division of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia announces a course on the fundamentals of practice in the Probate Division.
Those attorneys who desire placement on the Court's Fiduciary Panel must complete this three-session of videotape viewing course.
Review of the Fundamentals of Practice videotapes will be offered twice a year. The next series of reviews will be offered on the following dates:
- Monday, October 20, 2008 - Videotape #1 (Adult Guardianship & Conservatorships)
- Monday, October 27, 2008 - Videotape #2 (Estate Administration)
- Monday, November 3, 2008 - Videotape #3 (Guardianship of Minors & Fiduciary Responsibility)
Each session will begin at 1:00 pm and will last up to three hours. The sessions will be held in the training room 609 at Gallery Place, Center for Education and Training, 616 H Street, NW, 6th Floor, Washington, DC 20001. Please register in advance and report to the training site at least 15 minutes prior to the starting time.
Please Note: The space is limited to 20 people only. Five seats are reserved for make-up in each session. If you would like to make up any session, please indicate that on the online registration form.

Participants will receive confirmation via email. Course materials will be available in advance on the website. A pre-test will also be emailed to each participant a week before each class and should be completed before the class. The test is intended to be an aid to learning. The answers will not be used to evaluate the student or to determine eligibility for admission to the Fiduciary List.
