Typical Layout and user interface

A typical layout of an Adobe Connect review meeting has the following panels, or pods:

1:  Attendee List

Participant’s names, roles and status are listed within this pod. It is important to monitor those reviewers who are conflict with a particular application. Make sure they are not listed before the discussion begins. Participants can use one of the eight meeting status icons (for example, Go faster or Speak louder) to communicate with the presenter without disrupting the meeting.

2:  Chat Pod

This pod is used to send text message to one, all presenters or all participants. Private messages can be used to send a message to any participants, these messages will be listed in red, and marked as private.

3:  Application Info Pod

This pod is controlled by SRA to display the information relevant to the application being discussed.

4:  Camera and Voice Pod

Reviewers should become familiar with this pod. During the discussion of an application, the assigned reviewers must click on the “Start Camera” button to bring up their cameras. When they would like to speak, they will click on the “Talk” button to speak to the room.
