An outbreak of overdoses and deaths involving fentanyl combined with heroin or cocaine has been reported and confirmed in a number of urban and rural areas across the United States, including, Detroit (MI), Chicago (IL), Akron, (OH), Pittsburgh and Philadelphia (PA), Camden (NJ), Wilmington (DE), New York (NY), and Eastern Shore (MD).
