Many Patients Have Co-Occurring Mental and Substance Abuse Disorders -- Both Must Be Addressed for Successful Treatment

SAMHSA released its new Treatment Improvement Protocol (TIP), Substance Abuse Treatment for Persons with Co-Occurring Disorders, TIP 42, and led a Round Table discussion of co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders for the media on January 31 in Washington, DC.
