CHANGES/QUESTIONS
NOTE: The online RSVP system for submitting RSVPs for the
graduation ceremony is now closed. Fellows from the PMF Class of 2005 not
attending the ceremony can request their certificate of completion by emailing
the PMF Program Office at
pmf@opm.gov. Individuals from the PMF Class of
2005 have until March 31, 2009 to request their certificate.
OVERVIEW:
The PMF Class of 2005’s graduation ceremony is scheduled to take place at 3:00
p.m. (Eastern Time), on Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at the Walter E. Washington
Convention Center (WCC) in Washington, DC. Information about the WCC
(e.g., directions, parking, hotels, and local restaurants) can be found at
www.dcconvention.com.
The Graduation Ceremony is an excellent chance to reconnect with Fellows,
celebrate your accomplishments, and get inspired for the next steps in your
Federal career journey. You are urged to meet with your Agency PMF
Coordinator and your Supervisor to arrange travel and per diem to the event, if
applicable. Fellows can either participate in the graduation ceremony where
certificates will be presented, or request that a certificate be mailed to the
address entered during registration if unable to attend.
All Class of 2005 Fellows planning to attend the graduation ceremony must have
completed program requirements and be certified by their appointing agency's
Executive Resources Board (ERB), or equivalent. The PMF Program Office
will verify that all Fellows have been reimbursed to OPM from their appointing
agencies, ERB certified, and converted to their full-time positions, before
either participating in the graduation ceremony and/or receiving a graduation
certificate.
Registration counters at the WCC will be open for “Fellows” to CHECK-IN (see
instructions below for how to RSVP for this event). We will be utilizing
the same registration counters as the PMF Class of 2008 Finalists’ Job Fair
(signs will be posted throughout the WCC). Upon check-in, all Fellows
will receive a graduation program, agenda, name badge, and requested to
indicate the phonetic spelling of their first and last name for announcing
graduates.
A ceremony preparation meeting for graduating Fellows will begin at 1:30 p.m. in
Room 146C on the street level of the WCC to go over logistics and line
up for the ceremony.
The Graduation Ceremony is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. in Room 146A&B on
the street level of the WCC, and will conclude at approximately 5:30 p.m., with
opportunities for photos. A photographer will be available for Fellows to order
graduation photos at a nominal fee.
There will be a light reception to follow in Rooms 145A&B for all graduating
Fellows and guests. The PMF Graduation Ceremony event is free to all
attendees. Agencies are expected to cover travel costs and per diem for
each of their Fellows, if applicable.

GUESTS:
Family, friends and colleagues, as well as former Fellows, Agency PMF
Coordinators and Supervisors, are also invited to attend the Graduation
Ceremony. During the registration process, participating Fellows will be
asked to provide an estimated number of guests, and any requests for special
accommodations. Fellows are asked to provide guests with directions and we
highly recommend using the Metro Yellow/Green Line (Washington Convention
Center / M & 7th Streets, NW, Station). A coat check will be provided
for a nominal fee throughout the event.
PLEASE NOTE: Those 2005 Fellows who have not submitted an RSVP may
request a certificate be mailed to their home address up to March 31, 2009.

HOW TO RSVP:
Registration must be completed by Tuesday, April 15, 2008. Registrations after
this deadline may be accepted on a case by case basis. It is your
responsibility to coordinate any travel arrangements with your Agency PMF
Coordinator and your Supervisor. After submitting your RSVP, the online
registration system will notify the PMF Program Office to review your
registration and you will receive an acknowledgement email that your
registration was successfully submitted. Upon verification of meeting
program requirements, you will receive an email. Changes to your registration
status (e.g., outstanding program requirements) will generate the online
registration system to send you an email to your home and work email address,
as well as to your Supervisor and Agency PMF Coordinator.
NOTE: Registration for attending the PMF Class of 2005 Graduation Ceremony
is now closed. However, you may still request your graduation certificate
to be mailed to either your work or home mailing address. Please email
your request to the PMF Program Office at pmf@opm.gov.
The PMF Program Office will verify the meeting of the Program
requirements mentioned above. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for delivery.
On the registration form you will be required to provide contact information,
employment information, and your conversion information. This information
will be used to match and update our records. Please provide these
answers as it will help with program analysis and accurate recordkeeping.
Please double-check the spelling of your name as you would like it to
appear on your certificate.
