Ji-Yeon Lee

Dr. Ji-Yeon Lee joined LGP in April 2003 as a postdoctoral fellow. She did her graduate work in Seoul, Korea, where she worked on the identification of genes involved in cold weather adaptation in plants. In LGP Ji-Yeon focused on the roles of cytokines in the development and function of pancreatic ß-cells and hypothalamic neurons. In the spring of 2007 Ji-Yeon returned to Korea to take a Staff Scientist position at Cungnam Medical School in Daejeon.
