Current Projects
Turning The Pages: The project creates series of photorealistic books created from scanned pages of historical medical books and available in both kiosk and Web versions. Visitors may ‘touch and turn’ these pages in a highly realistic way. They can zoom in on the pages for more detail, read or listen to explanations of the text, and access additional information on the books in the form of curators’ notes. Working with raw information, I am responsible for all software (Macromedia Flash) and Web programming, animations, and image enhancements.
