NASA at SC08

NASA's SC08 research exhibit will feature science and engineering results generated using some of the Agency's most powerful high-end computing resources. Results from all primary mission areas—Aeronautics Research, Exploration Systems, Science, and Space Operations—will be shown using innovative NASA-developed visualization tools and techniques.

Our inspiring array of science, engineering, and high-end computing demonstrations planned for SC08 participants include:

  • Analyzing thermal protection systems for next-generation space vehicles
  • Exploring innovative ways of reducing jet engine noise
  • Predicting tropical storms using computational modeling
