Summary

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is soliciting proposals for the AHRQ National Resource Center for Health IT. It is anticipated that multiple task order contracts (IDIQ) will be awarded in four separate domain areas (areas of expertise). These contracts will provide support for the Agency's Health Information Technology portfolio by maintaining, serving as, and supporting the AHRQ National Resource Center for Health IT and its associated activities.

The four domain areas are:

  1. Support for Health IT Program Management, Guidance, Assessment, and Planning.
  2. Health IT Technical Assistance, Content Development, Program Related Projects and Studies.
  3. Health IT Dissemination, Communication and Marketing.
  4. Health IT Portal Infrastructure Management, and Web site Design, and Usability Support.

AHRQ anticipates awarding approximately three to six (but no more than 10) contracts per domain. Interested parties may submit proposals in one or more domain areas. Successful contractors will compete for task orders in their respective domains. It is AHRQ's desire to award contracts to a mixture of large and small businesses.
