Early Library Closings, Writing Resources, New Training Room, and Chem Sources® December 2008 Early Library Closings in December and January The NIH Library usually closes at 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday during the weeks of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. This year due to construction of a new, improved front entrance, the Library will close at 6:00 p.m. for an additional three weeks. New Training Room Opens: First Floor of the NIH Library On December 3, NIH Library staff members held classes in a new space on the first floor of the Library. The new Training Room replaces the facility on the lower level and provides a better learning environment and improved technology.
