Ms. Angela Carter is the NCO Staff Support Assistant for the National Coordination Office (NCO) for Networking and Information Technology Research and Development (NITRD). In this role, she is responsible for providing administrative support for the NITRD Interagency Working Groups (IWG) and Coordinating Groups (CG), preparing travel arrangements for technical coordinators, incoming procedures for new hires and monitoring external/internal requests for publications. In addition, she assists with the daily maintenance of the NCO contact information database and serves as the administrative liaison to the National Science Foundation (NSF), Department of Administrative Services.
Prior to joining the NCO, Angela was a business analyst at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). She served on the project management team assisting Tech center directors with strategic initiatives as well as restructuring the Patent Training Academy Curriculum review process to include a collaborative software tool. Angela also generated four monthly reports detailing electronic business, automated information systems, software outage and software deployment statistics for the Search and Information Resources Administration (SIRA).
Angela received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Administration of Justice from Howard University in May of 2006.
