Sweetness and kids


Claire Wang of Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health says most teens drink sugar-sweetened beverages and get close to 360 calories a day from the drinks, which is more than teens did 10 years earlier.

"Eighty-four percent of teens drink sugar-sweetened beverages, and they consume an average of 356 calories per day from these beverages – a significant increase from 10 years earlier." (10 seconds)
