Agricultural Operations Management prepares graduates to apply technology and mangement skills to construction and environmental systems, agricultural production, and technical sales.

Packaging Science graduates develop products to contain, preserve, protect, or enhance the value of goods thru innovative packaging solutions.

Military Meals research


MILITARY MEALS

Researchers with the UF Center for Food Distribution and Retailing have obtained a one-year $4 million grant to develop technology which ensures that military rations for overseas troops arrive intact, fresh and nutritious. The contract is the largest obtained by IFAS researchers in the past 10 years. The results could lead to greater efficiency, cost savings and innovations that benefit the government, and, ultimately, private industry and consumers. Read the complete story on the UF News website.
