To receive public comments on the Draft NICEATM-ICCVAM Five-Year Plan developed in partnership with relevant agencies to:
- Research, develop, translate, and validate new and revised non-animal and other alternative assays for
integration of relevant and reliable methods into federal agency testing programs
- Identify areas of high priority for new or revised non-animal and alternative assays to create a path
to replace, reduce, and refine (reduce pain and distress) animal tests, when scientifically valid and appropriate
