Summary: Joint Congressional Hearing Held on Health Disparities

On March 12, 2002, the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) and the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC) held a joint hearing to examine efforts to eliminate health disparities. John Ruffin, Director of NCHMD, testified. Several other components of DHHS testified also.
