Session II - P.L. 107-248 Department of Defense Appropriations Act, 2003

On October 23, 2002, the President signed into law H.R. 5010, the Department of Defense Appropriations Act, 2003, as P.L. 107-248. This legislation contains specific language to prohibit the transfer of the Medical Free Electron Laser to NIH, a proposal contained in the FY 2003 President's request for NIH.
