Special Program Assistance for Needed Tactical Officer Assets

The National Tactical Officers Association is pleased to provide an equipment donation program Special Program Assistance for Needed Tactical Officer Assets (SPANTOA) for SWAT Teams throughout the United States. The program is designed to provide important life saving equipment to SWAT/tactical teams that may otherwise not be able to obtain this equipment. All applicants are required to have a valid NTOA Team Membership to be eligible for grant programs. NTOA Individual membership holders are not eligible for this program.

Applicants will be chosen up to and including: the completeness of the application, statistical data on operations, team size vs. department size vs. population served, and the narrative should be at least 300 words as to why you should be selected -- narratives should be detailed and specific as to how the equipment will help your team (specific grants may have additional requirements).

Designed in conjunction with the British METRO Police, the new Mini Break -N- Rake is perfect for those close quarter window entries where space is at a minimum. Compact, lightweight and portable, the Mini Break -N- Rake offers features comparable with its larger counterpart in only half the size and comes equipped with an electrically non-conductive to 100,000 volts AC D-handle system.

DE-SOER Spec Ops Entry Ram:
The newest edition to the Dynamic Entry® family of rams, the Special Operations Entry Ram answers all of the requests and suggestions of operators in the field for a lightweight, yet powerful tactical entry ram. Featuring Dynamic Entry’s ergonomic Control-flex handle system for impact shock absorption, the Special Operations Entry Ram is non-sparking and electrically non-conductive; the ideal tactical entry ram for entries into known and unknown dangerous and volatile environments. The operator friendly design of the Special Operations Entry Ram allows it to be swung with a pendulum-like motion, ensuring that no energy is wasted; the operator’s impact force is magnified while avoiding the “FATAL FUNNEL.” In addition to the new ambidextrous handle arrangement, the Spec. O.D.F. Optronics LTD Grant: (2) Eye Ball™ R1 Systems

Field surveillance system specially designed for rapid deployment and real-time intelligence.  Eye Ball is an advanced, audio/visual surveillance sensor that can be deployed and operated by a single person. Each unit is only slightly larger than a baseball making deployment easy; simply throw the Eye Ball into the area you need to survey, mount it on a pole or lower it on a cable through a tunnel. Eye Ball is self-righting and rotates, to provide continuous 360° video and audio coverage of the target area. Night illumination, visible or invisible, allows the Eye Ball to operate at night or in darkened areas.

The sensor is rugged enough to survive a “throw" or "roll” of more than 50 meters with landings in rough terrain, concrete, piles of debris, or through windows.
