Normal Weekday Campus Access - Monday through Friday:
- Rockville Pike at Wilson Drive: Employees Only
- 5AM to 7PM -Inbound and Outbound traffic
- 7PM to 8PM - Outbound traffic only
- Rockville Pike (Metro) at South Drive: Employees and Visitors
- Open 24 hours - Inbound and Outbound traffic
- Rockville Pike at Center Drive: Employees Only
- 6AM to 7PM - Inbound and Outbound traffic
- Rockville Pike at North Drive : Employees Only
- 6 AM to 10 AM - Inbound and Outbound traffic
- Old Georgetown Road at Lincoln Drive: Employees Only
- 6 AM to 7 PM - Inbound and Outbound traffic
- Old Georgetown Road at South Drive: Employees Only
- 6 AM to 12 PM - Inbound and Outbound traffic
- 12 PM to 3 PM - CLOSED
- 3 PM to 9 PM - Outbound traffic only
- Old Georgetown Road at Center Drive : Employees and Visitors
- This entrance is primarily for Commercial Vehicles and Visitors *
- 5 AM to 2 PM - Inbound traffic only
- 2 PM to 7 PM - Inbound and Outbound traffic
* Once the Commercial Vehicle Inspection Facility (CVIF) is completed, this entrance will convert to an "employee only" entrance/exit; the hours of operation will be 6AM to 7PM
- Cedar Lane at West Drive: Patients and Patient Visitors Only
- 7 AM to 3 PM - Inbound traffic only
- Clinical Center Hospitality staff will assist patients at the entrance weekdays from 7 AM - 3 PM.
- Pedestrian Entrances:
- Stand-alone pedestrian portals: Employees Only
- NIH Gateway Center at Metro: Employees and Visitors
- West Gateway Visitor Center: Employees and Visitors
(Near Old Georgetown Rd at South Drive)
- Employee turnstiles at vehicle entrances open during vehicle hours of operation
After Hours and Weekend Campus Access:
- Rockville Pike (Metro) at South Drive
- Open 24 hours a day - Inbound and Outbound traffic

- Saturday 5 AM to 6 PM - Inbound and Outbound traffic
- Sunday 6 AM to 6 PM -Inbound and Outbound traffic
