Delta Research Center is committed to lowering the unemployment rate in six counties in the Bootheel region of Southeast Missouri which consistently have the highest unemployment and lowest income in the State by offering continuing education through the use of a modern high technology telecommunications center that will provide distance learning opportunities to rural residents. RUS grant funds will assist in the financing of equipment for a two-way interactive video network.
