Who I am and What I do:
I am a Studio Manager for Orange Photography in San Francisco.  I also attend San Francisco State University where I will be getting my degree in Technical & Professional Writing (emphasis on Grant Writing) next year.  I transferred from Eastern Michigan University where I was studying Creative Writing.

I have always loved to write. I enjoy taking big ideas and making them easier to understand.

Growing up:
I grew up in Michigan where there is great music and beautiful summers.

By far my all time favorite writer is Dr. Seuss! I learned how to read from his books. I really got into writing journals when I was in 9th grade.  I also started reading a lot of philosophy at that time.  My first favorite philosopher was Henry David Thoreau.  His book Walden changed my life.

My first job after High School was that of a merchant marine.  I worked on freighters that hauled iron ore and coal across The Great Lakes. My father was also a merchant marine, and I spent a large part of my childhood around freighters.

I have 3 lovely children - Nora, Aron, and Juju – and we love to go to the beach.  Every summer we take picnics to the lake, go for walks on the trails, and swim! We love to be outdoors.
