Physics Student
San Francisco State University

I am a senior student in the physics program at SFSU. I transfered to SFSU two years ago from the University of New Orleans.  I am graduating in the fall 2008, and I am the first one in the family to graduate from College.  Right after graduating, I am looking forward to joining the teaching credential program in order to teach physics to high school students.  My goal is
to learn and be able to teach in a way that would break down complicated concept and make it easy to comprehend for students that are learning those concepts for the first time.  In other words, I want my students to be able to look at those concepts and say "That make sense!" or "What about this? and that?" Just thinking about it, makes me exited and motivates me to learn more about physics, about teaching and about research.

I really believe that I will spend most of life in school learning, teaching, doing research, or maybe doing all of the above.  The rest of the time I'll be traveling, cooking, enjoying the outdoors, and spending quality time with my family.
