The Office of Cross-Media Programs (OCMP) is responsible for building and fostering systems and approaches that promote improved environmental performance by business and communities.
OCMP conducts its work through three integrated divisions, which provide the following functions:
- Sector Strategies Division: Partners with industry trade groups and other stakeholders to improve environmental performance and reduce regulatory burden in selected sectors.
- Development, Community, and Environment Division: Promotes smart growth: development that improves the economy, community, environment and public health
- Performance Track Division: Builds the National Environmental Performance Track program as a strategy of improving environmental performance, transforming relationships, and encouraging innovation.
OCMP also coordinates the Agency's voluntary programs through its Partners for the Environment Program.
The National Center for Environmental Innovation complements OCMP's work. Both offices support environmental innovation.
