Agricultural Management Assistance FY-2006 Unfunded Information

Updated 01/18/2007

The following three maps display information on Agricultural Management Assistance (AMA) applications for FY-2006 that were not funded.

This voluntary program provides financial assistance to producers in 15 States in which participation in the Federal Crop Insurance Program is historically low. The 15 States are Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming. The assistance encourages and helps producers adopt natural resources conservation practices and investment strategies that will reduce or mitigate risks to their agricultural enterprises. More than 400 applications, for more than 33 thousand acres,  were not funded in FY-2006, totaling more than $8 million.  Click on each map's Data link for detailed information.

The data tables are available in Adobe Acrobat format.
