CELEBRATE GODDARD-50 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE!:    Are you ready to celebrate? Mark your calendar for July 9 to Celebrate Goddard and our 50 years of excellence! This annual event is designed to highlight the diverse skills and individual differences that have made our success over the last 50 years possible. This 1-day event will showcase Directorate and advisory committee exhibits in the Bldg. 8 Auditorium as well as a car show parade, employee tours, fashion show, hobbyists, food, fun, and entertainment on the Goddard Mall (grassy area across from Bldg. 8). If you would like to volunteer in support of this event, please contact this year's event co-chairs, Darlene Mayo and Sue Pierpoint.

CELEBRATE GODDARD TOURS:   Back by popular demand from the Goddard community, the Celebrate Goddard Day Committee is able to offer you more opportunities than ever before to visit and learn about some of the many people and projects that support, "Yesterday's Vision, Tomorrow's Reality." This year, there will be tours in five areas, with 15 tour times available in the following areas: Fabrication Area/Bldg. 5, Goddard TV/Studio-Bldg 28, NISN Mission, Network Operations Management Center (NOMC)-Bldg. 14, NASA Center for Computational Sciences (NCCS) Super Computer Area-Bldg 28, and Science on a Sphere at the Visitor's Center. CELEBRATE GOODARD DAY BALLOON TOSS EVENT:   Did you enjoy last year¹s Diversity Council balloon toss? Did you want to join in? Here is your chance! Each Directorate is encouraged to form a small team and join in the competition. This fun and wet event will occur on the Mall (grassy area in front of Bldg. 8) at 12:25 p.m. on July 9. Show off your catching and tossing skills and try to stay dry! The team that lasts the longest will be the 2009 Water Balloon Tossing Champion of Goddard.
